Abstract

VERSA is a tool for the automated analysis of resource-bound real-time systems using the Algebra of Communicating Shared Resources (ACSR). This document serves as an introduction to the tool for beginning users, and as a reference for process and command syntax, examples of usage, and tables of operators, built-in functions and algebraic laws. Two detailed examples demonstrate the application of VERSA to cononical examples from the literature. This version of the VERSA user's guide reflects the 95.09.10 version of the tool.
