Bibliographer for Iberian and Iberoamerican Studies and Italian Literature
Introduction
Joseph Holub is reference librarian and Bibliographer for Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and Italian literature. He also serves as liaison to the programs in International Studies and Comparative Literature. He holds degrees in History from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A.), the University of California, Berkeley (M.A.), and the City University of New York (M.Phil.), and in Information Studies from Drexel University (M.S.). His graduate level research in History focused on 19th century Mexico and early 20th century Brazil. He is active in professional organizations, such as the the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) and the Northeast Libraries Latin America North East Libraries Consortium (LANE). He contributes indexing for Latin American scholarly journals and has contributed book reviews and articles for reference publications. His library guides cover Latin America, French, Italian, Spanish, and Luso-Brazilian Studies, international relations and international statistics, and United Nations publications.
