    2021 Latin America Virtual Think Tank Report

    The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania hosted the 2021 Latin America Virtual Think Tank Summit under the theme “Think Tanks: Riding the COVID Tiger.” Featuring over 15 panelists, the summit focused on the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy, public, health, politics, and social welfare of both the region of Latin America and individual Latin American countries.

    The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania hosted the 2020 Asia-Pacific Virtual Think Tank Summit on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. The Summit took place in the initial stages of the pandemic and sought to highlight the crucial role of think tanks in becoming active agents in the society to assist governments and relevant stakeholders in countering the crisis. During three sessions, participants discussed the pandemic’s social, economic, health and political impact, recommendations on how to prepare for the pandemic, and a critical analysis of those recommendations.

    North America Virtual Think Tank Summit Report 2021

    The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania hosted the North America Think Tank Summit 2021 virtually on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. It focused on operational and strategic challenges posed by the COVID Pandemic. With over 77 institutions represented, the summit fostered discussion on public distrust in the government, the difficulties of a virtual work environment, ingenuity to continue operations, reestablishing credibility in think tanks and more.
