Abstract
This report was designed to test and establish some of the foundational psychometric properties of rubrics designed to assess school’s engagement with Culturally Responsive Schooling. Culturally responsive schooling (CRS) encompasses many aspects of the school experience, including leadership, school environment, teaching, and community relationships. CRS is intended to improve diverse students’ educational experiences by increasing school efforts to better reflect students’ backgrounds, family cultures and community connections to support the distinct academic, social and emotional needs of students, and better support families.
