Three sets of university medical lecture notes, the first written in Turin in 1714. The first is an introduction to medicine, sharing the title of Galen's Methodus medendi, followed by an appendix; the second section is on pharmacology, with prescriptions and recipes, followed by an appendix and a table of contents; and the third is on surgery. Each set has an engraved title page bound in around its first gathering (gatherings 1, 13, 23).
