Abstract

Breast cancer is a common cancer that relies especially on early detection. Traditional detection methods are costly and require infrastructure, making them inaccessible in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Here, we propose the idea of a low-cost rapid screening test using the miRNA biomarker. We produced a meta-analysis to analyze and summarize current research and quantitative data on the diagnostic potential of miRNA biomarkers for breast cancer.
